Great to meet you!
Hello, and welcome to my page. I am honored that you are considering me as a partner in your mental health journey. I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with more than seven years of experience providing psychiatric care across urgent care, crisis stabilization units, inpatient and outpatient psychiatry, walk-in medical clinics, emergency departments, and telepsychiatry.
My educational journey began with an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from Los Angeles Harbor College in 2011. I went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from California State University, Long Beach in 2015. From there, I pursued advanced practice nursing, completing a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care in 2017 and a Post-Master’s Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing in 2018, both from California State University, Los Angeles. In 2022, I earned my Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of Massachusetts Global, Irvine. I am board certified in both psychiatric mental health and adult-gerontology acute care by the ANCC.
A bit about my approach to therapy
At the core of my practice is the belief that everyone deserves compassionate, respectful, and high-quality care. My style is warm, empathetic, and collaborative. I listen carefully to understand you as a whole person—not just a diagnosis. I encourage open dialogue, questions, and shared decision-making. I am mindful of the responsibility that comes with prescribing medications, and I am highly selective with controlled substances, always guided by careful evaluation and your long-term wellness.
My goals for Clients are:
- Prioritize safety and quality in every decision.
- Promote self-understanding through education.
- Encourage empowerment and motivation.
- Support long-term wellness through holistic approaches.
What you can expect from our first session
Your first session is an important step toward building trust and understanding. You can expect a thorough evaluation where I will ask about your history, current concerns, and goals for treatment. I will also provide education about your condition and treatment options. By the end of our first session, my goal is for you to feel a sense of relief, clarity, and confidence about moving forward with your care
